The list of accepted papers for WINE 2010 has been posted. As noted by Muthu, there will be a fantastic set of plenary speakers.
Looks like Amin Saberi is paying his dues to Microsoft Research.
Read my thoughts. Who posts accepted papers in Excel?
Even majority of the plenary speakers seem to be Microsoft Research’s favorite. Money talks.
I think the comment of the anonymous is unfair to Amin and the amazing list of plenary speakers. My comment was tongue in cheek regarding the Excel list but accusing people about bias anonymously is easy to do and has become unfortunately all too common.
Quality of the speakers no doubt is good. There are other top quality speakers in the world. I was an intern at Microsoft once. I saw these speakers there. One concern which affect me is this. This favor by Saberi will be returned by Microsoft. I will be in the job market soon. I do not want Saberi’s students are favored by Microsoft because Saberi’s use of the community positions in a particular way. The senior members of the community must take a note of it.
I am yet to see the list because it is in Excel. But I have no doubt about the quality. They should have put an html link.
There’s now a list in html.
